Next session of online initiative to develop fatherhood skills
The next session of the National Fatherhood Initiative’s 24/7 Dad® program sponsored by Loudoun County begins Tuesday, July 15. All fathers are welcome to attend this free, 12-week, virtual program to build skills to become even stronger dads.
The online workshops will take place weekly on Tuesdays, beginning July 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. Participants meet virtually as a group to discuss topics that include men’s health, communication, discipline, getting involved, co-parenting, work-life balance and child development. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited.
Developed by parenting experts, the 24/7 Dad® program teaches fathering techniques and strategies, provides fathers with peer support and guidance and allows fathers the opportunity to discover their own parenting strengths.
For more information and to register, visit loudoun.gov/fatherhood.
Anyone who requires an accommodation to participate in the program may contact the Department of Family Services at 703-737-8237. Three days’ notice is requested.
