Leesburg’s 2024 Water Quality Report available online

The Leesburg Utilities Department recently released the Town’s Water Quality Report for 2024.

The report is designed to inform the Leesburg community about the quality of water that the Town delivers every day. It includes detailed information on where your water comes from, how it’s treated, and on-going water system improvements.

Since 1999, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has required drinking water providers to publish annual water quality reports. Leesburg’s report provides customers with information about the sources, treatment, and testing of their drinking water as well as an overview of federal drinking water regulations.

“The dedication of our Water Supply Division employees to providing safe, clean, and reliable drinking water is evident,” said Leesburg Mayor Kelly Burk. “Their commitment shows in our consistently high-water quality standards and the recognition we receive.”

A limited number of print copies of the report are available. Customers who would like a print copy or have questions about their drinking water quality can contact the Town’s Department of Utilities Water Supply Division at 703-737-7110. The report can also be viewed online at www.leesburgva.gov/waterqualityreport.
