PRCS hosts WinterFest at Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park

Join Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services for this first annual WinterFest featuring ice activities, a winter market, free kid’s activities, and more.

WinterFest will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park, 22831 Hanson Park Drive, Aldie. WinterFest is free to attend, and no registration is required.

This family-friendly event will feature fun activities for all ages including ice sculptures, miniature train rides, a visit from Santa and other winter characters, music from DJ BiFocals, food trucks (food for purchase), and retail and craft vendors to help you find that special gift for the holiday season.

In addition to these winter-themed activities, WinterFest will host various local nonprofit organizations along an interactive walking path. PRCS is also partnering with One Warm Coat and Toys for Tots to collect outerwear donations and new toys.
