All are invited to attend the Purcellville  Oath of Office Ceremony Dec. 5

The newly elected Mayor and Town Council Members will take their Oath of Office in a ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 5:30 p.m. for Mayor-elect Christopher Bertaut and Council members-elect Susan Khalil, Ben Nett, Caleb Stought, and Kevin Wright.

The Oath of Office reaffirms each elected or re-elected official’s commitment to faithfully perform the duties as Mayor and Council Members for the Town of Purcellville.

The Town’s Charter requires members of the Council take the Oath of Office. The ceremony will take place at Town Hall, 221 S. Nursery Avenue in Council Chambers and will be performed by the Honorable Gary M. Clemens, Clerk of the Loudoun County Circuit Court.
