Leesburg Police investigating burglary at Zales Jewelry Store
The Leesburg Police Department is investigating a burglary at the Zales jewelry store located at 241 Fort Evans Road NE.
On Saturday, Aug. 31, at approximately 11:26 pm, officers responded to the Zales jewelry store for a report of an alarm. Upon arrival, they discovered that the store had been forcibly entered. The preliminary investigation revealed that three subjects wearing dark clothing, reflective construction-style vests, and hats, entered the store and removed an undisclosed number of items.
The Leesburg Police Department is asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or who may have information related to the burglary to contact Detective Silby. The case number is 2024-29217.
