Leesburg Police Arrest Suspect in Jewelry Store Burglary

The Leesburg Police Department arrested the suspect in connection with a burglary at the White and Ivory Diamonds store earlier this month. On Saturday, Aug. 24, at approximately 6:50 p.m., officers located the suspect in the 1300 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE and placed him under arrest.

The suspect, identified as Terrance C. Turner, age 34, of no fixed address, was charged with burglary, destruction of property, and possession of burglary tools. Turner was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is being held without bond.

The arrest follows a thorough investigation into the August 10, 2024, burglary of the White and Ivory Diamonds store located at 1610 Village Market Boulevard SE. Upon arrival, officers found the front door was damaged and the business had been entered. Nothing from the store was taken. The suspect was captured on surveillance footage, which played a crucial role in the investigation.
