Leesburg man faces drug distribution charge

The Leesburg Police Department has charged a Leesburg man with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance following an unrelated warrant service.
During the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 11, officers were conducting a foot patrol in the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE, where they observed a subject with an open warrant out of Fairfax County. The male, Terry Dunbar, 20, of Leesburg, was taken into custody without incident. Upon conducting a search incident to arrest, officers located a large amount of cash and pills on his person.
Dunbar was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is being held on no bond.
