Juvenile charged in non-fatal stabbing in Lovettsville

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has charged a juvenile in a non-fatal stabbing that occurred in Lovettsville this past weekend.  

On Friday, Dec. 1, deputies responded to a report of a juvenile male and an adult male suffering from injuries related to an altercation. Upon arrival in the 38600 block of Morrisonville Road, they discovered that the adult male was also suffering from stab wounds. Both were transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. They have since been released. 

Following an investigation led by Detective Alonzo Perry, detectives learned that the victim and suspect were known to each other. During the incident, the juvenile offender attempted to rob the victim and would not let him leave the property. The juvenile has been charged with Attempted Robbery, Abduction, and Malicious Wounding, and the case has been referred to Juvenile Court Services.
