Remembering Gabriel Holz-Fernandez

Gabriel Holz-Fernandez, a beloved son, brother, and gentle soul, passed away peacefully at Inova Loudoun Hospital on November 1, 2023. He was born on March 6, 1987, in Monterrey, Mexico.

Gabriel’s legacy of giving continued even in his final moments as he chose to donate his organs, offering the precious gift of life to those in need. His selflessness and compassion knew no bounds. Gabriel’s memory will shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his grieving parents, Gerry and Alicia, his brother Yonatan and his wife Sarah, Grecia and her husband Alexander, and his brother David, who will forever cherish the memories they created with him.

A wake and funeral mass, followed by a small reception to celebrate Gabriel’s life, will be held on Friday, November 10, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Purcellville, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider donating to Loudoun County Combined Fire-Rescue, or to the emergency services of your choice.

Gabriel will be missed dearly! He and David are family to us, my heart is broken and I know his family is grieving terribly.
