VSP investigating fatal Loudoun County crash

At 2:48 p.m. on Sunday, April 25, Virginia State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection on Lime Kiln Road and Snickersville Turnpike. A 2012 Bentley GT ran off the road and struck a tree.

The driver, Gregory L. Pellegrino, 55, of Middleburg, died at the scene. He was wearing a seatbelt.

The initial investigation suggests a medical emergency may have contributed to the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
