Middleburg to hold public outreach on Town Hall project

 The Town of Middleburg will hold a public outreach session on the New Town Hall Project on Monday, March 15, beginning at 6 p.m. at the American Legion Hall.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the outreach session will be held virtually, with a limited number of in-person seats available. This session will include a review of the history of the project, a presentation of the schematic design that has been developed, a discussion of the community benefits included in the new Town Hall, and a question & answer session.  Town residents and business owners are encouraged to offer their comments as to what public amenities they would like to see in the new Town Hall building.

Participation in the outreach session will occur through the following (virtual attendance is preferred):

In-Person:  For those unable to attend virtually, a limited number of seats (25) will be available for Town residents or business owners to attend the session in-person at the American Legion Hall, located at 111 The Plains Road.  To register in advance for in-person attendance, contact Rhonda North, Project Lead/Town Clerk, at (540) 687-5152 or rnorth@middleburgva.gov.  Those who have not pre-registered for seating may be seated at 6pm if unclaimed seats remain.

For those who are unable to attend the session on March 15, it will be videotaped for viewing beginning Tuesday, March 16 on the Town’s website at www.middleburgva.gov. Residents/business owners may also visit the Town Office for details on the project. Town residents/business owners may comment on what public amenities they would like see in the new Town Hall via https://middleburgva.gov/input (Community Issue/Input); by letter (P. O. Box 187 Middleburg, VA 20118); in-person at the Town Office; or, by calling Rhonda North at (540) 687-5152. Comments are requested by Friday, March 19, at 12 noon.
