54th Annual Bluemont Fair has a poster design winner

Organizers of the 54th ANNUAL BLUEMONT FAIR, to be held Sept. 21 and 22, have announced the winner of this year’s poster design contest. It is Bluemont’s own Becky Greene.

Becky’s design, reflecting the 2024 Fair theme “The frogs, lightning bugs, turtles and/or salamanders of Bluemont” was selected from a crowded field of wonderfully creative submissions by artists of all ages from throughout the region. Capturing much of what makes Bluemont such a special place in Northern Virginia, Becky’s design will grace the Bluemont Fair’s distinctive poster, T-shirt, and other fair memorabilia.

Becky Greene is a Loudoun native who grew up in Bluemont, graduating from Loudoun Valley High School in 2001. Her creativity became evident as a youngster and found expression throughout her schooling, including taking college level art classes. An accomplished ballet dancer in her teens, she recently established a small ballet school in her current community in rural Indiana. Other creative outlets include homesteading with her husband, Steve, and homeschooling her four young children.

The Bluemont Fair is a Loudoun County tradition held every 3 rd weekend in September, except 2020,
due to the pandemic, since 1969. For more information about the Bluemont Fair visit:
