08/17/2017 – 01:24 p.m. Berlin Turnpike @ Route 7 Bypass Assist another Police Agency
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office initiated a vehicle pursuit on Berlin Turnpike south of Lovettsville that had entered the Town of Purcellville. Police Officers provided assistance to the Sheriffs Office in taking the driver into custody after the pursuit had ended on the entrance ramp to the Route 7 Bypass at Berlin Turnpike.

08/18/2017 – 10:00 p.m. 600 Blk. S. Maple Ave. Destruction of Property
The complainant reported that her vehicle had been damaged by unknown suspect(s) that had thrown eggs at her vehicle.

08/18/2017 – 03:00 p.m. 300 Blk. S. 20th St. Larceny of Bicycle
The complainant reported that her son’s silver BMX Mongoose bicycle had been taken from the yard during the day. The complainant went looking for the bike and found a male riding it. When confronted he dropped the bike. The suspect has been identified and the investigation is continuing.

08/19/2017 – 09:00 p.m. 600 Blk. Wintergreen Dr. Destruction of Property
The complainant reported that her vehicle had been damaged by unknown suspect(s) that had thrown eggs at her vehicle.

08/20/2017 – 03:54 a.m. 700 Blk. E. Main St. Curfew Violation
A police officer on patrol observed two juveniles out in the early morning hours. Parents were contacted and advised they were unaware the juveniles had left their respective homes. The parents responded and took custody of their children. The parents and juveniles were warned of the violation.

08/20/2017 – 02:08 p.m. 200 Blk. N. Maple Ave. Simple Assault
A business owner reported that individuals had entered his business without authorization. It was reported that an altercation took place and one subject pushed the victim. Police responded after the event, and all parties were interviewed. The investigation is continuing.

08/21/2017 – 09:30 a.m. 600 Blk. Wintergreen Dr. Identity Theft
The complainant reported that his personal information had been compromised and a utility account outside of the area was opened in his name.

08/22/2017 – 10:20 a.m. 100 Blk. Hirst Rd. Fraud
The complainant reported that she noticed illegal charges in her bank account that she did not authorize. The incident is under investigation.

08/22/2017 – 11:30 a.m. 100 Blk. E. Main St. Keep the Peace
Police were called to the scene to mediate a dispute between two parties over the ownership of a vehicle. Legal advice was given and no further police action was needed.

08/23/2017 – 04:37 a.m. 200 Blk. S. 32nd St. Curfew Violation
Police Officer on patrol observed two juveniles out in the early morning hours. Parents were contacted who were unaware they were out. The juveniles were transported to a residence in Town and turned over to a parent of one of the juveniles. The parent and juveniles were warned of the violation.
