Purcellville Seeking Volunteers for Town-Wide Clean-Up

On Saturday, March 17 from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. the Town of Purcellville is once again partnering with Keep Loudoun Beautiful for the annual town-wide clean-up day. Last year, over 300 volunteers collected 300 bags — over 1 ton of trash and recycling.

The Town of Purcellville invites all citizens, families, individuals, sports teams/organizations,scouts, church groups, and all other volunteers to participate in this effort to help keep Loudoun beautiful. This event will includer oadside and trail clean-up. Volunteers are encouraged to participate by helping maintain the mission of Keep Loudoun Beautiful:

  • Maintain the natural beauty and visual quality of Loudoun County
  • Encourage and educate citizens to keep Loudoun beautiful
  • Promote public awareness of environmental challenges and suggested solutions, like Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling
  • Improve county trash disposal and eliminate illegal dumping
