Firefighters Invite Donations of Winter Clothing

Loudoun County Fire and Rescue, along with the Loudoun chapter of the International Association of Firefighters Foundation invite you to bring your clean, gently used coats, jackets, scarves, winter hats, gloves and mittens to the locations below through November 20. Please arrange drop off for weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Donated items will be given to Mobile Hope Loudoun for distribution to local people in need. If you do not have winter apparel to donate,monetary donations can be made online: https://www.onewarmcoat.org/donate/?tfa_2182=17-0455. Tax receipts are available.

Celebrating their 25th anniversary, One Warm Coat is a national non-profit organization that works to provide a free, warm coat to any person in need. One Warm Coat supports individuals, groups, companies and organizations across the country by providing the tools and resources needed to hold a successful coat drive. Coats are distributed in the communities where they were collected, to children and adults in need, without charge, discrimination or obligation. Since One Warm Coat’s inception in 1992, it has worked with volunteers to host more than 27,000 coat drives and has given away more than five million coats.
