Victim reported to police that money and credit cards were stolen from her purse. Suspects have been identified and charges are pending.

Police responded to a domestic dispute between a parent and child. On police arrival all parties had calmed down and no further police assistance was required.
07/30/2017 – 12:39 a.m. 500 Blk. Wintergreen Dr. Domestic
Police were called to a residence for a verbal domestic. Upon police arrival it was learned the parties involved are living separate and were not at the same location. Complainant was provided information on available resources.
07/31/2017 – 10:41 p.m. 300 Blk. E. G St. Domestic
Officers responded for a suicide threats complaint. Upon arrival it was discovered this was a verbal domestic between husband and wife. Subject was not suicidal and both parties were calm. Parties agreed to remain separate for the night and no further police assistance was required.

Police responded to assist the Fire Department with an unknown situation. The situation was stable, and the subject and spouse were provided with information on resources available.

The victim reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse and purchases were made at a businesses. Suspects were identified and the case remains under investigation.

Complainant contacted police to report his wallet missing. This incident is under investigation.
08/01/2017 – 4:27 a.m. 300 Blk. N. Maple Ave Suspicious Event
Police responded for a complaint of possible gunfire in the area. The caller was not certain if the sound was actual gunfire, nor could the caller pinpoint the general location of the sound. The area was checked with negative results.
08/02/2017 – 3:47 p.m. 600 Blk. N. 21st St. Vehicle Crash / Driving Revoked
Police responded for a report of a vehicle crash. During the course of the investigation it was determined one of the drivers, Mr. Brook Burke, of Hillsboro, was driving on a revoked license. Mr. Burke was charged with habitual offender.
